What is sws sleep?

I read an article about sleep cycles and it mentioned 'SWS sleep'. What exactly is this, and why is it important for our health? I usually struggle with deep sleep.

I am trying to improve my sleep cycle and came across this term SWS. Does it mean deep sleep, and how many hours of it do we actually need every night?

SWS stands for Slow Wave Sleep, which is the deep sleep phase. When I was going through severe stress, my deep sleep completely vanished and it made me feel so exhausted and broken daily.

SWS is Slow Wave Sleep, the deep restorative sleep. Since my thyroid levels fluctuate, my sleep gets affected, so I always get my blood checked and follow up with my endocrinologist to ensure my sleep cycle stays normal.

I completely understand how worrying it is when you aren't sleeping well and start looking up medical terms. SWS is just the healthy deep sleep phase where your body repairs itself, so don't worry too much.

SWS stands for Slow Wave Sleep! It is the magic phase where your body physically recovers and builds muscles. Sleep tight! 😴

Hey, don't stress too much about the scientific terms! SWS is basically just the deep sleep when your brain completely relaxes. Just put your phone away early and you'll get plenty of it.

SWS is the deep sleep our body needs to heal. I used to struggle with this, but drinking warm turmeric milk before bed and keeping the room completely dark really helped me sleep deeper.
