What is suprapubic pain?

I've been experiencing some discomfort and a dull ache in my lower abdomen, and a friend mentioned it could be 'suprapubic pain.' What exactly is suprapubic pain, and what usually causes it?

It is pain in your lower abdomen, just above the pubic bone area. Please take rest and don't push yourself too hard today.

I just recovered from this last week; it was a dull ache in my very lower belly. Turned out to be a urinary tract infection, so drinking tons of water and getting doctor's antibiotics cleared it up.

For mild pain in that lower area, drinking warm coconut water or using a light warm compress can help. But if the pain is severe or you have fever, please see a doctor immediately.

At my age, we face these lower abdomen issues quite often, usually due to bladder or prostate infections. It is nothing to be scared of, just a routine checkup and some antibiotics will resolve it.

It's pain in the lower pelvic area, sometimes caused by bladder pressure or even a muscle strain from heavy squats. Make sure you hydrate well and avoid heavy lifting until you get it checked.

Please do not ignore this pain. I delayed getting my lower abdominal pain checked and it turned into a severe kidney infection that required hospitalization. Go to a doctor and get a urine test done.

It's that annoying ache right above your pubic bone that keeps you running to the bathroom at 3 AM. Honestly, between this pain and my sleep schedule, I am barely functioning today.
