What is stronger than meloxicam for arthritis?

My doctor prescribed meloxicam for my knee arthritis, but the pain is still quite bad sometimes. I was wondering if there are any other stronger medicines available that could help more, like for when the pain is really intense.

Meloxicam is an NSAID. For stronger pain relief in arthritis, a doctor might consider other NSAIDs, or even corticosteroids or disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) for specific types of arthritis. Please don't self-medicate, especially with diabetes, as some medicines can affect blood sugar. Always ask your doctor.

Listen, meloxicam is a decent painkiller for arthritis. But if it's not working, you need to go to a doctor, not ask here. They might give you something stronger like a higher-potency NSAID, or even steroids depending on your condition. Don't take advice on strong medicines from the internet, bhai.

For arthritis pain stronger than meloxicam, a doctor might prescribe stronger NSAIDs, or other classes of medication like biologics or even opioids in severe cases, but these have more side effects. Diet can also play a big role; an anti-inflammatory vegetarian diet can sometimes help manage symptoms alongside medication, but always consult your doctor for medical advice.

Dealing with chronic arthritis pain can be incredibly tough and emotionally draining, so I completely understand wanting something stronger. When meloxicam isn't enough, doctors might explore other NSAIDs, or even move to different types of medications like DMARDs or biologics, depending on your specific arthritis. It's okay to feel frustrated, but a specialist is the best person to guide you.

Meloxicam is an NSAID, right? If that's not cutting it for arthritis, my friend's doctor gave him something stronger, maybe a different NSAID or even a steroid short-term. Has anyone else experienced their arthritis pain needing something more potent than meloxicam? It makes me a bit anxious thinking about stronger meds.
