What is stage one kidney disease?

A friend just found out she has 'stage one kidney disease' after a routine check-up. She's a bit scared and I want to support her. What exactly does stage one kidney disease mean and is it very serious?

Stage one means there is very mild kidney damage but they are still working perfectly fine. Drinking enough water and reducing extra salt in your home-cooked meals is a great way to manage it, but do check with a doctor.

It basically means the kidneys are completely normal but there is a tiny sign of damage on the tests. Honestly, it's just an early warning to stop drinking so much soda and live a bit healthier.

Bhai, stage ek ka matlab hai ki abhi koi badi bimari nahi hai, bas thoda dhyan rakhne ki zaroorat hai. Accha khana khaiye aur doctor saab ki baat maniye, sab theek ho jayega.

I know seeing the words 'kidney disease' on a report can make you panic instantly, but stage one is actually very mild. Your kidneys are still doing their job fully, so take a deep breath.

Hey, don't stress too much about stage one! It just means your kidneys have some minor wear and tear but are working 100% fine, so just focus on staying hydrated and healthy.
