What is stage 4 prostate cancer survival rate?

My elder brother has been battling prostate cancer for a while, and it seems to have progressed to stage 4. I'm trying to find out what the general survival rate is for stage 4 prostate cancer, just to get an idea.

My cousin's husband was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer five years ago. He is still going strong with hormone therapy, so please don't get discouraged by general statistics.

Hey, don't stress too much looking at those scary percentage charts online. Prostate cancer treatments have evolved so much, and many people live comfortably for years even in advanced stages.

My grandfather has been dealing with stage 4 prostate cancer. Honestly, the survival rates you see on search engines are outdated and don't match how well patients do with new therapies today.

Look, survival rate is just a number on a page, not a final verdict for your patient. Just focus on finding a solid oncologist and getting the therapy started without delaying.

Since treatments like hormone therapy are long-term, look into government schemes or generic pharmacy options to keep costs manageable. Proper financial planning helps avoid treatment gaps.
