Stage 4 colon cancer means it has spread to other organs like the liver or lungs. When dealing with serious family illnesses, keeping a structured routine and making sure they get easily digestible, small meals helps them cope better with chemotherapy.

My granddad had stage 4 colon cancer. It was pretty heavy for the whole family, but the doctors managed to control it with chemo, and he got to spend two really good, peaceful years with us. Just be there for them.

Stage 4 means the cancer has decided to go on a tour of other body parts. It's a tough battle, but doctors these days have some heavy-duty treatments to slow it down, so don't give up hope just yet!

My father is being treated for stage 4 colon cancer at Tata Memorial. My best advice is to write down all your questions and ask your oncologist clearly about the treatment goals and palliative options—they can guide you best.
