Stage 3 means the cancer has reached nearby lymph nodes but hasn't spread to other body parts. Since I manage diabetes, I know how crucial diet becomes during any major treatment. You have to be very careful with nutrition and follow the hospital's diet chart exactly.

My husband went through stage 3 colon cancer treatment three years ago. Yes, the chemotherapy cycles are exhausting, but keeping hydrated with coconut water and eating small, frequent meals helps a lot. Stay positive because this is very curable with modern therapy.

It means the disease has spread to local lymph nodes. Along with the main treatment, managing your daily stress and blood pressure is very important because the body goes through a lot. Regular checkups and keeping lifestyle clean helped my cousin recover well.

I agree with others, it is a serious stage but definitely fightable. Please make sure to get a second opinion from a reputed cancer institute to plan the surgery.

Hearing about stage 3 is so scary, it makes my anxiety spike instantly. Did anyone else feel completely lost and numb when they first got the pathology report? How did you cope with the stress in those initial weeks?
