What is squamous cell skin cancer?

My dermatologist recently diagnosed a spot on my hand as 'squamous cell carcinoma,' and I'm quite worried. Can someone explain what exactly squamous cell skin cancer is in simpler terms? I want to understand more about it.

It's a common type of skin cancer, usually from sun exposure. I always wear sunscreen and try to stay in the shade during peak sun hours. If someone has it, simple things like light walks in the morning or evening can help overall well-being, but obviously, follow what the doctor says first for treatment.

Ah, yes, my dermatologist mentioned this. It's one of the main types of skin cancer. He always tells me to get regular full-body skin checks, especially since I'm out in the sun a lot due to work. Important to keep up with general health checkups, not just for BP.

Please, if you suspect anything like this, don't delay. I know someone who had a small lesion that turned out to be this, and it grew quickly because they waited. Always see a dermatologist immediately. Self-diagnosis or waiting can lead to complications.

This is a common skin cancer. If you notice any suspicious spot, definitely get it checked. Even if tests might seem a bit costly, early detection and treatment for things like this are much, much cheaper and simpler than later stages. Plan for it like any other essential health expense.

Haan, this is a type of skin cancer. Usually because of too much sun exposure, ho na? My aunt had a small spot removed years ago. It's good to be aware of any changes on your skin and show it to a doctor quickly.
