What is soriatic arthritis?

My friend told me her relative was diagnosed with 'soriatic arthritis'. I had never heard of it before. What is soriatic arthritis? Is it related to psoriasis, and what are its main symptoms?

Psoriatic arthritis is complex. Best to visit a rheumatologist in a good hospital, they can explain everything and start the right treatment. Don't rely on internet info for such conditions.

Haan na, my friend's cousin had this. It's when psoriasis also affects your joints. Best to get it checked early, ho na.

Oh, is it like a combination of skin and joint issues then? I'm not familiar with this, sounds quite difficult to manage.

I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis two years ago. It's an autoimmune condition where your immune system attacks your joints, along with the skin psoriasis. It needs proper treatment from a good rheumatologist, don't delay it. I'm much better now with meds.
