What is small cell cancer?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with some type of cancer, and the doctor used the term 'small cell cancer'. I'm trying to understand what this means. Is it a specific type of cancer, and how is it different from other cancers?

I am trying to understand this for a family member's report. Is small cell cancer very different from other types, and does it grow faster?

Yes, it is a highly aggressive type of cancer that needs immediate medical attention. Please do not delay and consult an oncologist at the earliest.

In our family, we always look at traditional ways to support health, but for something as serious as small cell cancer, we must completely trust the oncologist's treatment plan. Follow their advice strictly.

While eating fresh, home-cooked food can help keep the body strong during recovery, small cell cancer is a major medical issue. You must go to a proper hospital and start medical treatment immediately.

When my uncle was diagnosed with this, the doctors explained it was a fast-growing cancer. I won't give any medical advice, but we found that getting a second opinion from a major cancer hospital helped us make the best decision.
