What is silent asthma?

My neighbour's kid keeps coughing, especially at night, but they say it's not a cold or anything. Someone mentioned 'silent asthma' to them. What exactly is that, and how is it different from regular asthma?

I heard about 'silent asthma' from a friend who has asthma. They said it's when someone has asthma symptoms but doesn't have the typical wheezing sound, so it can be harder to detect. They mentioned it's still serious and needs proper medical attention. I'm not a doctor, just sharing what my friend told me.

Silent asthma is when you have asthma symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, or chest tightness, but without the usual wheezing. This can be tricky to diagnose. Just like with high BP, regular checkups are key for any health condition. If you suspect something, definitely consult a doctor, don't ignore these subtle signs.

Silent asthma, woh hota hai jab aapko asthma ke symptoms hain, jaise saans phoolna, khansi, chest tight hona, but woh seeti wali awaaz (wheezing) nahi aati. Isliye usko pehchanna mushkil hota hai. Par hai woh asthma hi, so doctor ko dikhana zaroori hai. Don't take it lightly.

Silent asthma means having asthma symptoms like coughing or breathlessness, but without the whistling sound (wheezing) that often accompanies it. It makes it harder to identify. While managing diabetes requires strict diet, food advice alone can't address respiratory issues. For silent asthma, proper medical diagnosis and treatment from a specialist are crucial, not just diet changes.

Silent asthma is a bit tricky, it's when you have asthma symptoms like shortness of breath or persistent cough, but without the typical wheezing sound. I panicked once when I heard about 'silent' conditions, thinking it could be anything. But it just means it's harder to spot without a doctor. So, if you're facing breathing issues, just get it checked out, no need to stress about the 'silent' part, a doctor will figure it out.

Silent asthma? That's when your lungs are like, 'I'm suffocating, but let's keep it a secret!' So you get all the breathing trouble, coughing, chest tightness, but without the dramatic wheezing sound. It's like a ninja attack on your breath! But seriously, if your breath is acting mysterious, get it checked by a doc, don't wait for a noisy scene.
