What is rat bite fever disease?

My neighbour told me her child got a bite from a rat and now they are worried about 'rat bite fever disease'. I'd never heard of it before. Can someone explain what rat bite fever disease is, what the symptoms are, and how serious it can be? It sounds quite scary.

Look, it is a serious bacterial infection that spreads through contact with infected rodents or their waste. If there is a bite or scratch, do not wait for symptoms to show. Go to the doctor immediately and get the proper medication.

This is a serious infection and home remedies like neem paste or turmeric will not work here. It is caused by specific bacteria from rats and needs proper medical treatment. Please show a doctor right away to avoid complications.

My father always warned us to stay away from areas with rodent infestation. Rat bite fever is a bacterial illness that can cause joint pain and skin rashes if left untreated. We must trust proper medical practitioners and take antibiotics as they prescribe.

It is basically a bacterial disease you get from rodent bites, scratches, or even handling them. Symptoms include crazy high fever and rashes on your hands and feet. Definitely not something to chill with, go see a doctor immediately.

Haan na, it is a dangerous fever that comes from rat bites or scratches. Some people also call it sodoku. We should not take it lightly at all, go to the hospital and get it treated immediately, ho na.

Rat bite fever can become severe if diagnosis is delayed. It is caused by Streptobacillus moniliformis bacteria and causes high fever, vomiting, and joint swelling. Please head to a clinic or hospital for immediate professional care.
