What is potomac fever?

I came across an article about 'Potomac fever' and it sounded quite scary. I was wondering what this disease is and how common it is, especially in India.

Potomac fever? Sounds like a fancy dish name or something! Haha. But from what I know, it's mostly a horse disease, like a bacterial infection they get. Humans rarely get it. So no need to worry about it messing with our dinner plans, unless you're a horse owner, maybe!

Potomac fever, I've heard of it for horses mostly! 🐴 It's also known as equine monocytic ehrlichiosis. It's a bacterial infection that affects horses, causing fever, diarrhea, and laminitis. Very rarely, humans can get infected, but it's quite uncommon. Best to keep animals healthy to avoid such issues! 😊

Arre, Potomac fever, that is mostly for animals, for horses. I remember reading about it long ago. It's a kind of infection. Humans usually don't get it, or it is very, very rare. So don't worry too much about it for yourselves. Focus on general hygiene and health, that is more important.

Potomac fever, ho na? Yeh actually ghodo (horses) ko hoti hai. It's a bacterial infection. Hum insaanon ko toh bahot rarely hoti hai, like almost never. So, it's not something to be overly concerned about for human health. Just general knowledge ke liye achha hai.

It's primarily a disease affecting horses, caused by bacteria. Very rare for humans to contract it.
