What is piles disease?

I've been experiencing some issues and my neighbor suggested it might be 'piles disease'. I'm quite embarrassed to talk about it but want to understand what this condition entails. Can someone shed some light on 'piles disease'?

Piles are basically swollen veins in your lower rectum, like varicose veins. Main thing is to keep your bowel movements soft. Eat enough fiber, drink lots of water, and avoid straining. Sometimes a warm sitz bath helps with discomfort. For persistent issues, doc visit is a must.

It's totally normal to feel anxious when you're not sure about a health condition like piles. It sounds scary, but it's actually quite common. Don't worry too much, just gather information and then make an informed decision with a doctor.

My doctor explained that piles, also known as hemorrhoids, can be internal or external. They are caused by increased pressure in the veins around the anus, often from chronic constipation, prolonged sitting, or even pregnancy. He stressed the importance of a high-fiber diet and hydration to prevent straining.

I don't have piles, but like with my thyroid, I always recommend regular check-ups. Piles can be due to many things, so best to see a doctor to understand the root cause and get proper treatment. Don't self-diagnose based on internet, haan.

Honestly, don't trust every 'home remedy' or 'quick fix' you read online for piles. Some things can make it worse. Your best bet is to verify everything with a qualified doctor. They can recommend the right treatment, whether it's lifestyle changes or something more.

Please, for your own safety, get it checked by a doctor. Piles can sometimes be confused with other, more serious conditions. It's always better to be safe than sorry, especially with symptoms in that area. Don't delay a proper diagnosis.
