For a calm mind, children, simple living is best. Good food, fresh air, talking to family... these are important. What is not important is always running after money or trying to be like others. Comparing yourself to others only brings sorrow. Focus on your inner peace.
I always overthink things, so this question hits close. I've realized that trying to be perfect all the time, or constantly comparing myself to others on social media, is definitely NOT important for my mental health. Does anyone else feel exhausted trying to keep up with impossible standards?
True mental peace comes from within. While external factors play a role, always seeking validation from others or accumulating material possessions is not truly important for lasting positive mental health. Focus on gratitude, mindfulness, and healthy relationships.
For kids, and us too, what's not important for mental health is having the latest gadgets or always getting top marks. What truly matters is a loving environment, feeling heard, and enough playtime. Pushing too hard for external achievements often creates more stress than joy.
I totally get how much pressure there is these days. What is definitely NOT important for positive mental health is constantly comparing your life to others' highlight reels on social media, or trying to be someone you're not to please others. Focus on what brings you genuine peace and joy, not external validation.
After my own health struggles, I learned that obsessing over perfection or letting social media define your happiness is absolutely NOT important for positive mental health. It leads to more stress. What is important is to listen to your mind and body, and if you feel overwhelmed, to seek professional help without hesitation. Don't let things escalate.
From a fitness angle, chasing an 'ideal' body type or obsessing over every single calorie is actually NOT important for positive mental health. It can lead to body dysmorphia and unhealthy relationships with food. What IS important is consistent movement, nutritious food, and appreciating your body for what it can do.

Managing my thyroid has taught me that internal balance is key, and this applies to mental health too. What is not important is letting other people's opinions dictate your self-worth or ignoring your body's signals of stress. Focus on self-care and professional help if needed, not on pleasing everyone.
Beti, hamare gaon mein toh log kehte hain, mann ki shanti ke liye zaroori hai sachchai, apno ka saath aur santosh. Bade-bade shehron ki daud, doosron se aage nikalne ki chah, yeh sab mann ko khush nahin rakhta. Yeh sab zaroori nahin hai acchi mental health ke liye.
For positive mental health, chasing external validation or material possessions isn't important. While they can provide temporary highs, true well-being comes from within. Focus on self-acceptance, healthy boundaries, and meaningful connections, not societal pressures to 'succeed' by certain metrics.
