My mother was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and we're trying to understand how to manage it. What is considered a normal blood sugar range for a diabetic person?

For diabetics, the target levels are usually different, ho na? Like, before meals, it should be between 80-130 mg/dL, and after meals, below 180 mg/dL. But yeh, always best to confirm with your own doctor, as it varies person to person.

Haan, for a diabetic, the target is usually a bit higher than a non-diabetic. My chacha ji, who is diabetic, tries to keep his fasting below 130 and post-meal below 180. But na, it's always specific to your case, so doctor ka advice is super important.

Normal blood sugar for a diabetic? Ha! It feels like a moving target sometimes, doesn't it? My doc aims for fasting 80-130 and after-food less than 180. But one bad gulab jamun and poof, those numbers go for a toss. It's a constant battle, yaar.

While general guidelines exist, like fasting between 80-130 mg/dL and post-meal under 180 mg/dL, it's really important for a diabetic to have these targets set by their own doctor. Each person's management plan is unique, especially if they have other health conditions like PCOS.

Please, please don't guess or rely on internet advice for this. I ignored my symptoms for too long and regretted it. For a diabetic, target blood sugar levels are very specific and set by your doctor based on your age, other conditions, and how long you've had diabetes. Get it checked and follow your doctor's plan diligently.

It's about finding balance and peace, even with diabetes. Your doctor will set the 'normal' for you, based on your body. Stay positive, eat well, and remember to check regularly. This too shall pass, just keep taking care of yourself.
