What is norco pain medicine?

Someone I know got a prescription for 'Norco pain medicine' after surgery. I haven't heard of it before. What kind of pain relief is Norco, and are there any common side effects?

Bhai, Norco is a heavy-duty painkiller. It's not something you take for a headache. Doc gives it for serious pain, usually after surgery or injury. Don't mess with it without a prescription, it's strong stuff.

Honestly, never heard of it! Usually my 'pain medicine' is a good plate of hot pakoras when I'm feeling down, haha. But if it's for actual pain, I hope it helps you feel better soon, whatever it is!

Norco is an opioid pain reliever, so it's quite potent. For minor issues, I always suggest natural remedies, but for pain severe enough to need something like Norco, please, please consult a medical professional. Don't self-medicate with such strong drugs.

Is Norco that medicine that can make you feel drowsy or a bit 'out of it'? I've heard some strong painkillers can have those effects. Has anyone here taken it and felt really weird after? Just curious.

In our time, such strong medicines were not so common. But yes, I have seen people needing strong pain relief for very difficult conditions. It is important to remember that these are for serious pain and always under the doctor's watchful eye. Trust your doctor, beta.

I totally get it if you're looking into strong pain meds; severe pain is just awful. Norco is a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen, used for moderate to severe pain. It's a prescription drug, so talk to your doctor about your pain, they can guide you best.
