What is msk pain?

My shoulder has been aching for some time, and the doctor mentioned 'msk pain' during a quick checkup. I didn't get a chance to ask him what that really means. Could someone explain what 'msk pain' is?

Pain is a signal from our body, beta. MSK pain means pain in your muscles, bones, joints. It's a reminder to care for your physical self. Keep your spirit calm, and seek medical help for the body. Balance is key, always.

MSK pain means pain in your muscles, bones, ligaments, joints, etc. It's often due to injuries, overuse, or bad posture. For small pains, a hot pack or balm and rest works. But if it's constant or too much, best to see a physio or ortho. Don't let it become a bigger issue.

MSK pain, is that like, general body aches? I sometimes get weird pains in my shoulders and knees, especially after a long day. Is that what it is? Does everyone experience it sometimes, or should I be worried if it happens frequently?

Excuse me, I'm not familiar with this term. So, MSK pain means musculoskeletal pain? Is it different from just a normal muscle ache you get after exercising, or is it a more specific type of pain?

MSK pain, or musculoskeletal pain, is very common. Through yoga and pranayama, I've learned that listening to your body is important. Gentle stretches and mindful movement can help, but if the pain is persistent or severe, a doctor's consultation is essential. Our body speaks to us.
