What is liver cirrosis?

My neighbor has been diagnosed with 'liver cirrhosis' and seems to be struggling a lot. I want to understand more about his condition. What exactly is liver cirrhosis and what causes it?

Liver cirrhosis is late-stage scarring of the liver caused by long-term damage. My father suffered from major complications due to this, and it is a very serious condition that can lead to liver failure. Please do not try to self-treat this at home; you must see a gastroenterologist immediately for proper management.

Cirrhosis means the liver has severe scarring and can't function properly. Honestly, this is why we need to balance our love for street food and drinks with healthy intervals. Take care of your liver because once it gets scarred, you have to bid goodbye to all the spicy and oily treats forever!

It is basically when the liver gets permanently damaged and scarred due to reasons like alcohol, fatty liver, or hepatitis. While medicine is absolutely necessary, simple changes like cutting out oil, stopping alcohol completely, and eating light, home-cooked meals help a lot. Don't panic, but keep a strict eye on diet.

My uncle went through this because of chronic hepatitis. Cirrhosis is basically the final stage of liver scarring where healthy tissue is replaced by scar tissue, blocking blood flow. It's a serious deal, bro, so if anyone has symptoms like jaundice or swollen legs, get them to a doc fast.

Ah, cirrhosis is when your liver says 'enough is enough' and gets heavily scarred from years of abuse or illness. It's a permanent condition, so we can't just fix it with morning walks or green tea. Go see a proper doctor and get those liver function tests done before things get out of hand.
