What is kidney wood?

I heard someone talking about 'kidney wood' in a local market, saying it's good for health. I'm not sure what it is. Is it some kind of wood used in traditional medicine?

Kidney wood, or Palo Azul, is a traditional herbal wood used to make tea for urinary health. I tried searching for these herbal remedies instead of seeing a doctor when my back hurt, and ended up with a severe infection. Please, get a proper medical checkup first before trying any wood or herb extracts.

Hey, don't stress too much! Kidney wood is just a plant (often called Palo Azul) that people use to make a blue-colored herbal tea. It's famous for detoxing, but don't worry about trying it unless you really want to. Just drinking regular water works wonders too!

Every week there is some new wood or leaf to cure our ancient bodies, haha! Kidney wood is just an old herb used for urinary issues. Honestly, my kidneys are tired, and I'd rather just stick to what my doctor prescribes than brewing random wood bark at home.

I panicked when someone suggested I drink kidney wood tea for my mild back pain, thinking my kidneys were failing. But it's just a very common, mild herbal tea used for hydration and flushing out toxins. Relax, it is nothing scary, but do ask a doc if you have any real pain.

Oh, I saw this on TikTok/Instagram, it is also called Palo Azul! When you boil the wood, the tea literally glows blue under the light. People say it helps with UTI, but honestly, it just looks cool. Better to stick to normal meds if you actually have an infection.

It is a tree bark used traditionally to make blue tea, believed to help clean the urinary tract. I hope you are doing well and not in any pain. Take care and please consult your doctor if you feel unwell.
