What is jardiance used for other than diabetes?

My father takes Jardiance for his diabetes, but I heard someone talking about it being used for other things too. I'm curious what other conditions this medication is prescribed for besides diabetes.

Jardiance is actually prescribed a lot for heart failure now! It helps protect the heart and kidneys even if you don't have diabetes. Modern medicine is quite amazing, isn't it?

Jardiance is actually used to lower the risk of cardiovascular death in people with heart disease, yaar. It is not just for sugar control. But obviously, don't take it without a doctor's proper prescription.

Jardiance is also used to treat heart failure and to help protect kidney function. Don't worry if a doctor prescribed it to someone without diabetes, as it has great benefits for the heart. Just ensure they take it exactly as directed.

My uncle was prescribed Jardiance mainly for his chronic heart failure issue. The doctor told us it helps reduce the risk of hospitalization for heart problems. It works well, but you need a cardiologist's sign-off first.

Look, Jardiance is highly used for heart failure and chronic kidney disease these days. Doctors know what they are doing when they prescribe it. Just follow their advice and don't try to change the dose yourself.

Apart from diabetes, doctors prescribe Jardiance to support heart and kidney health. It is a very standard practice now, so please don't worry. I hope this helps clear your doubt.
