What is inflammatory arthritis?

My knee pain has been getting worse, and the doctor mentioned something about 'inflammatory arthritis'. Can someone explain what this is in simple terms? I just want to understand what's happening.

Hey, don't stress too much. It is basically a type of arthritis where your immune system gets a bit confused and causes swelling and stiffness in your joints. Just get a proper blood test done and consult a rheumatologist, they will help you manage it easily.

Ye ek aisi bimari hai jisme jodon me sujan, dard aur joradar jakdan hoti hai, khaskar subah ke samay. Normal gathiya se ye thoda alag hai kyunki isme hamara sharir hi jodon par hamla karne lagta hai. Iske liye kisi bade doctor ko dikhana zaroori hota hai.

It can sound scary, but inflammatory arthritis is just an overactive immune response causing joint pain and stiffness. Make sure you don't ignore early symptoms like morning stiffness that lasts more than an hour. We will get it checked by a good specialist, so please don't worry.

I was reading up on this because my aunt has it. It includes conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis where the joint lining gets inflamed. It is different from wear-and-tear arthritis because it is an autoimmune issue.

This is a condition where the joints swell up and cause immense pain, often affecting the whole body. While we can use warm mustard oil with garlic for temporary comfort, you must take proper medical treatment from a doctor to prevent joint damage.
