What is in tylenol pm that makes you sleep?

Sometimes I have trouble falling asleep and was thinking of trying Tylenol PM. I know Tylenol is for pain, so what is the additional ingredient in the 'PM' version that helps you sleep?

It has diphenhydramine, which is an antihistamine that causes drowsiness. Personally, I prefer a cup of chamomile tea or warm milk before sleeping, but if your insomnia is severe, please consult a medical expert.

It contains diphenhydramine, which is basically an allergy medicine that makes you super sleepy! 😊 It also has acetaminophen for pain, so it's a double action for cozy sleep!

The sleeping ingredient is diphenhydramine. I used to ignore my sleep issues and kept taking OTC sleeping aids for months until it affected my focus, so please go get a proper checkup done by a doctor.

It has diphenhydramine as the sleep aid. Since my PCOS makes my sleep cycles erratic, I try to be very careful with antihistamine-based sleep aids, as they can leave you feeling very groggy the next day.

Hey, it is just diphenhydramine mixed with paracetamol. It definitely knocks you out, but it’s meant for nights when you actually have physical pain keeping you awake, so don't use it as a regular sleeping pill.

Actually, it’s just diphenhydramine, which is an anti-allergy compound that makes you drowsy, yaar. It’s okay for occasional use when you have body ache, but don't take it daily to fix your sleep schedule.

I know how exhausting it is when you just want a good night's sleep but your mind won't stop racing. It has diphenhydramine, which causes drowsiness, but make sure not to make it a habit because it can feel scary to rely on pills.
