What is hepatitis a b and c virus?

I often hear about Hepatitis A, B, and C. Are there any other types, or are these the main ones? What is the difference between Hepatitis A, B, and C virus?

Hey, don't stress too much about all these medical terms! They are basically three different viruses that infect the liver. A is usually from bad street food and clears up quickly, while B and C are blood-borne and need proper medical monitoring.

I had Hepatitis A in college after eating contaminated golgappas, and it was a week of pure fatigue. B and C are much more serious, long-term blood infections. Make sure you use clean needles if you get tattoos, that is how B and C spread.

Knowing Hepatitis A spreads through water makes me so paranoid about my pani puri cravings! B and C are totally different and don't spread through food, thankfully. Always choose clean places to eat to stay safe from type A.

These are three distinct viruses that affect the liver. While they have similar names, their treatments and prevention methods differ, so a doctor's consultation is always recommended.

This sounds a bit overwhelming to learn. Are there vaccines available for all three of these viruses, or is it only for some of them?

These viruses cause liver swelling, and while a clean, low-fat vegetarian diet supports liver recovery, it cannot cure the infection itself. Always consult a doctor for proper antiviral medications, especially for chronic Hepatitis B and C.

My grandmother used to suggest country medicine for liver jaundice, but for viral infections like Hepatitis A, B, and C, modern medical treatment is necessary. A and B have highly effective vaccines, but C does not, though it has good antiviral cures now.
