What is hepatitis?

My neighbour was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis, and I'm a bit worried as I spend a lot of time with her. What exactly is Hepatitis, and how does one get it?

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver, most commonly caused by viral infections or alcohol abuse. Since liver damage can be silent, you must get a proper LFT blood test done and consult a doctor instead of ignoring mild jaundice symptoms.

Absolutely agree that liver health is crucial. Getting vaccinated for Hepatitis B is one of the easiest ways to protect yourself from this chronic liver disease.

Hepatitis is simply inflammation of the liver, which can be viral or non-viral. It is highly manageable if detected early through routine liver function tests.

My son had Hepatitis A from drinking contaminated water at school. It basically causes severe jaundice, vomiting, and extreme weakness. Please ensure your children only drink filtered water and are fully vaccinated.

Haan, basically liver me swelling ho jaati hai isme, na. Yeh contaminated food, water ya viral infection se ho sakta hai. Agar eyes yellow dikhein toh seedha doctor ke paas jana chahiye.
