What is good to take for a fever?

My son has a mild fever and is feeling a bit warm. He's usually quite energetic, so this has me a little worried. Apart from cold compresses, what is good to take for a fever at home for a child to bring it down gently?

For fever, it's always best to consult a doctor. Don't self-medicate blindly, especially if it's high or persistent. My family always goes to a good hospital to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

Oh, fever can be so draining! I've tried many things. Usually, a warm sponge bath helps bring down the temp a bit. And lots of fluids, like ORS or coconut water. If it doesn't go down or you feel really weak, then please see a doctor.

In our house, my mother always says drink warm jeera water and rest. But if it's more than a mild fever, I always tell my children to see the doctor. Better safe than sorry, no? They will know best.

Ugh, fever makes everything taste bland! But you gotta eat something light. Dal khichdi is my go-to, easy on the stomach. And lots of soup! Just make sure it's homemade, not that packet stuff, full of preservatives.

Dealing with PCOS, my body sometimes reacts differently to things. For fever, I stick to basics: paracetamol, lots of fluids, and rest. I'd never suggest anything strong without a doctor's advice. Our bodies are complex, best to be cautious.

When I get a fever, I usually take a paracetamol and try to get some sleep. But if it persists beyond a day or two, or if I feel really unwell, I book an online consultation with a doctor. Saves time and gets me proper advice quickly.

Listen, for fever, just take a crocin and rest. If it doesn't get better in a day, then go see a doctor. Don't experiment with too many things. Simple solution is best.

Hey! Don't stress too much. Fever is common. Just drink plenty of water, maybe some nimbu paani. And if you feel really hot, a cool damp cloth on your forehead helps. But if it feels serious, please just call your doc, yaar.

Since I have thyroid issues, I'm always extra careful with any health changes, even a fever. I always check my temperature regularly and keep my doctor informed. It's important to monitor it and get proper guidance, especially if you have other health conditions.

I use my smartwatch to track my body temp sometimes, especially if I feel off. For fever, hydrate a lot. There are also health apps that can connect you to online doctors quickly if you're not feeling well enough to step out. Very convenient for quick advice.
