When I first experienced bad vomiting, I totally panicked! But sometimes, it's just your body trying to get rid of something bad. For me, sipping on cold ginger ale or just ice chips helped a lot. Don't force yourself to eat or drink. Just try to keep hydrated slowly. If it's severe, please see a doctor, don't wait like I did initially.
Vomiting is such an awful, helpless feeling, isn't it? It can really make you feel terrible and anxious. Don't force yourself to eat or drink anything heavy. Just try to relax and take very tiny sips of clear fluids. Sometimes just knowing it will pass can help mentally. But if it's constant, a doctor's visit is a must.
Vomiting ho rahi hai toh pehle pet ko araam do. Kuch mat khaao, bas thoda thoda paani piyo, woh bhi sips mein. ORS ya nimbu paani bhi chalega. Agar vomiting ruk nahi rahi hai, bukhar hai ya kamzori lag rahi hai, toh doctor ke paas jaao. Ghar pe risk mat lo.
I've dealt with this a few times. The best thing is to give your stomach a complete break from food for a few hours. Then, start with ice chips or very small sips of water. Ginger tea can sometimes help settle nausea. Over-the-counter anti-nausea meds are also an option if your doctor approves, but hydration is the priority.
Whenever I vomit, I just want it to stop immediately! Does anyone else get really restless and anxious during it? I usually try to lie down and take deep breaths. Also, sometimes just smelling a sliced lemon helps a bit with the nausea, has anyone else tried that?

For someone managing diabetes, vomiting can be tricky because of blood sugar fluctuations. It's crucial to stay hydrated with ORS, but be careful with sugary drinks if your sugar tends to be high. Check your blood sugar more frequently. If you can't keep fluids down or feel very unwell, don't delay seeing your doctor or going to the emergency. It can get serious fast for diabetics.
To stop vomiting, first, don't eat or drink anything for a couple of hours to let your stomach settle. Then, slowly introduce clear liquids like small sips of water, ORS, or diluted ginger tea. Avoid solid foods, milk products, and anything acidic or spicy for a while. If vomiting is continuous or you have fever/severe pain, please seek medical attention immediately, as dehydration can be dangerous.
