What is good for tummy pain?

My little daughter gets tummy pain quite often, especially after she eats something new or sometimes just out of the blue. It's usually mild but makes her uncomfortable. What are some good, safe things that can help with tummy pain in kids? Should I be giving her something specific?

Tummy pain hai toh pehle light khana khao. Dal-chawal ya khichdi. Ajwain aur kala namak garam paani mein le lo, thoda relief milega. Agar bahut tez dard hai ya ulti aa rahi hai, toh doctor ko dikhao, ghar pe mat baitho.

Don't worry too much, most tummy pains are usually nothing serious, maybe just gas or something you ate. Try lying down, placing a warm compress on your stomach, and sipping some ginger tea. If it gets worse or you get fever, then it's time to visit the doctor, okay?

Sometimes tummy pain is from indigestion or eating something heavy. Drinking enough water and having fiber in your diet regularly can prevent a lot of gut issues. If it's exercise related, might be a muscle cramp, so gentle stretches could help, but generally, rest and light food are best.

Oh god, tummy pain always makes me panic! Does anyone else feel like that? I usually try sipping some warm water and avoid any heavy food. Sometimes it just goes away, but if it's really bad, I get scared it's something serious. Have you felt that too?

Yes, light food and rest are definitely the first steps. Also, try to avoid spicy food for a day or two.
