What is frequent vomiting?

My little one has been throwing up a lot since yesterday. Not just once or twice, but quite frequently. It's making me really worried. What constitutes 'frequent vomiting' in kids, and what should I do?

Hi, I'm new here. Frequent vomiting sounds very uncomfortable. Is it like, throwing up many times in a day, or over several days? Just trying to understand better what it means.

Hello! Frequent vomiting means throwing up multiple times, which can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. It could be due to various reasons like stomach flu, food poisoning, migraines, or even pregnancy. It's crucial to consult a doctor to identify the cause and get proper treatment. Don't delay it.

Frequent vomiting refers to repeated episodes of expelling stomach contents. It can be a symptom of various underlying issues, ranging from mild infections to more serious conditions like appendicitis, pancreatitis, or even certain neurological problems. Self-diagnosis is not advisable; consulting a doctor for proper diagnosis and management is crucial to prevent complications like dehydration.

Oh, I've had episodes of frequent vomiting before and it's terrifying. Like, you can't keep anything down. Does anyone else get really scared about getting dehydrated when it happens? It always makes me so anxious.

I know how horrible frequent vomiting feels. I once tried ginger tea and bland food like idli or khichdi. It helped a little to settle my stomach, but if it's really frequent, please see a doctor. Home remedies can only do so much, and you need to know the cause.

Frequent vomiting is not just physically draining, it's mentally exhausting too. The constant nausea, the fear of eating anything... I remember feeling so miserable and helpless during those times. It's okay to feel that way, and please reach out for medical help.

Look, if you're vomiting frequently, it's not normal. Could be food poisoning, a viral infection, or something more serious. Don't sit on it. Hydrate well, but definitely get it checked by a doctor soon. No point guessing.

Beta, if you're throwing up a lot, that means your body is trying to tell you something is wrong. Don't just ignore it. When we were young, we'd take nimbu pani, but now it's better to go to a doctor. They'll tell you what's actually happening. Take care of yourself.

Frequent vomiting is definitely a sign to be concerned. My mother would say to drink tender coconut water or rice kanji, but for persistent vomiting, it's always best to see a doctor. They can properly diagnose and help you. Please don't neglect it.
