There are many types, but generally, liver diseases are called hepatic diseases, or hepatopathy. Common ones are fatty liver (hepatic steatosis), hepatitis (inflammation), and cirrhosis (scarring). It's really important to get it checked if you have symptoms, as the liver does so much for our body.

Don't fret too much, but it's good you're asking. There isn't just one name; conditions like fatty liver, hepatitis, and cirrhosis all affect the liver. Each has different causes and treatments. The best thing is to see a doctor; they'll clarify everything for you and ensure you get the right care.

The general term is liver disease, but specific conditions include fatty liver (hepatic steatosis), hepatitis, or cirrhosis. For people like me managing diabetes, fatty liver is a big concern. It's crucial to control blood sugar and avoid processed foods and excess sugar to protect your liver.

Honestly, there are many. Just saying 'liver disease' is like saying 'headache'. There's fatty liver, hepatitis (A, B, C), cirrhosis, liver cancer... The best thing to do is clearly ask your doctor about your specific condition after proper tests. They'll give you the correct medical term and treatment plan.

I had non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) which is a very common one. Basically, too much fat in the liver not caused by alcohol. My doctor called it 'hepatic steatosis'. It's often reversible with diet changes and exercise. Please get tested to know your specific condition.

Diseases of the liver can be many, like fatty liver, hepatitis, or cirrhosis. All are serious. Maintaining a healthy weight through regular exercise, like walking for 30-45 minutes daily, and a balanced diet can help prevent some liver issues. But if you suspect anything, always consult a doctor, don't just rely on exercise.
