What is difference between type i and type ii diabetes?

I often hear people talking about different types of diabetes, like Type I and Type II. Can someone explain the fundamental difference between Type I and Type II diabetes in an easy-to-understand way? My family has a history of it, so I want to be informed.

Ah, diabetes, it's become so common these days. Type 1 is usually found in younger people, where the body completely stops making insulin. Type 2, which many of my friends have developed later in life, is where the body doesn't use insulin properly. Both need careful management, don't worry, many people live full lives with it.

Hey, don't stress too much about this. Basically, Type 1 means your body can't make insulin at all, usually since childhood. Type 2 is more like your body isn't using the insulin it makes very well, and often comes later in life, can be lifestyle related. Both need doctor's advice na, but Type 2 can sometimes be managed with diet and exercise.

Oh god, diabetes is so scary, right? I always worry about my sugar levels. But okay, Type 1 is an autoimmune thing, like your body attacking itself, so you need insulin. Type 2 is more common, where your body resists insulin or doesn't make enough. It's a lot to take in, but please talk to a doctor to be sure.

Haan na, it's a common question. Type 1 is jab body bilkul insulin nahi banati, bachpan se hi hota hai mostly. Aur Type 2 mein body insulin banati toh hai, par usko theek se use nahi kar paati, ya kam banati hai. Isliye, Type 2 waale aksar lifestyle change se manage kar sakte hain initially, ho na?

I've seen many people try home remedies for general sugar issues, but for proper diabetes diagnosis, you need to know the type. Type 1 is serious, needs insulin injections, no home remedy can replace that. Type 2 can often be helped by diet and exercise, yes, like bitter gourd juice and fenugreek seeds, but only alongside proper medical guidance. Don't experiment without talking to a doc first.

I was just looking this up too! From what I understand, Type 1 is when your pancreas completely stops producing insulin because your immune system attacks it. Type 2 is more about insulin resistance, where your cells don't respond to insulin well, or your pancreas doesn't make enough. Big difference in management.

My health tracker app often shares articles on this. Type 1 is autoimmune, usually diagnosed in kids/young adults, and requires lifelong insulin. Type 2 is more often adult-onset, related to lifestyle, where the body's insulin production or use is inefficient. Exercise and diet are key for Type 2, along with meds. Knowing your family history helps too.

It's totally okay to feel a bit confused, diabetes types can be tricky. I used to get so anxious about every health symptom. But for Type 1, your body just doesn't make insulin. For Type 2, it's more about how your body uses insulin. The important thing is to get proper medical advice for either, so you can manage it well and not stress.

Been seeing this question a lot. Look, Type 1 is where your body literally has zero insulin production, so external insulin is a must. Type 2 is more complex, either less insulin or your body's cells ignoring it. It can often be controlled with diet, exercise, and oral medicines before insulin becomes necessary. Always get tested to know which type it is.
