What is cronic kidney disease?

My father recently had some tests and the doctor mentioned 'chronic kidney disease'. I'm quite worried and want to understand what this condition entails. What exactly is chronic kidney disease, and what should we expect?

Hey! Chronic kidney disease means your kidneys aren't working as well as they should, and it's a condition that develops over time, not something sudden. Don't stress too much if you're just learning about it, but if you have symptoms, definitely get it checked out by a doc. It's always good to be informed, right?

Chronic kidney disease, eh? Sounds like another one of those things that decide to show up once you hit a certain age. Basically, it means your kidneys aren't filtering blood properly and it's a long-term problem. My doc says it's a serious matter, no joking around with kidneys, unlike my waistline. 😉

Chronic kidney disease means your kidneys are failing gradually. It's a serious issue, needs long-term care. The practical solution is early detection through regular health check-ups, especially blood and urine tests. And if diagnosed, strictly follow the doctor's diet and medication advice. It's about careful management.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) basically means your kidneys are damaged and can't filter blood as they should, and this damage gets worse over time. It's a serious condition, but with proper management and early detection, people can lead good lives. If you or someone you know has symptoms, please see a doctor right away, don't delay.

Chronic kidney disease? Ugh, sounds like another thing to add to my list of worries along with lack of sleep and my ever-increasing screen time. It basically means your kidneys are doing a bad job filtering stuff, slowly getting worse. Maybe I should drink more water... if I can remember to, after sleeping 3 hours.
