What is core sleep?

I've been trying to improve my sleep lately and read about 'core sleep.' What exactly is core sleep and how much of it do we need to feel rested? Is it the most important part of sleep?

Beta, core sleep is like your body's main deep rest, you know? The important part. You should always try to get at least 6-7 hours. A light dinner and a calm mind before bed always help for a good core sleep, my grandmother used to say.

For me, with my thyroid condition, proper sleep is crucial. Core sleep refers to the most essential and restorative stages of sleep, primarily deep sleep and REM sleep. It's the minimum amount your body needs to function well. If you're consistently feeling tired even after sleep, it's good to check with a doctor, especially for any underlying issues.

Core sleep is essentially the most vital part of your sleep cycle, comprising deep sleep (NREM stage 3) and REM sleep. It's when your body repairs itself and your brain processes information. While general information is helpful, if you're concerned about your sleep quality, a sleep specialist can provide tailored advice.

I've tried so many things for better sleep, and understanding core sleep really helped. It's basically the high-quality, restorative sleep that makes you feel refreshed, not just the hours you spend in bed. Things like reducing screen time before bed and keeping a cool, dark room can make a big difference for your core sleep.

Core sleep matlab, jo sabse zaroori neend hai. Jaise apne phone ki battery ka main charge, waise hi. Jab achhi deep neend aati hai, body ko sach mein rest milta hai. Thanda doodh pi ke sona ya halka garam paani se nahana, ye sab help karta hai.

Core sleep is your essential sleep, meaning the deep and REM stages that are critical for physical and mental restoration. It's the part you can't really compromise on without feeling the effects. Aim for consistent sleep hygiene to optimize it.

Core sleep is the deep, healing sleep your body needs, like when you feel truly rested. I always suggest avoiding heavy meals late and maybe some light yoga before bed for this. But if you're struggling badly with sleep, feeling tired all the time, it's really important to see a doctor, not just rely on home remedies.
