What is considered sleep deprivation?

I'm working long hours and barely sleeping 4-5 hours a night. Is this considered 'sleep deprivation'? I feel tired all the time and it's affecting my studies.

Consistently getting less than 7 hours of sleep is sleep deprivation. I ignored it for months until I ended up with severe panic attacks and blood pressure issues. Please consult a doctor before it seriously damages your health.

Is getting less than 5 hours of sleep a night considered sleep deprivation? I've been feeling so dizzy and unable to focus lately because of this. Does anyone else get random headaches when they don't sleep enough?

Sleep deprivation is not just feeling tired; it completely breaks down your emotional stability and makes you feel so anxious and lost. It is a very real struggle, and you are not alone in feeling this way.

It is when your body doesn't get enough sleep to function, usually less than 6 hours consistently. I used to struggle with this, but drinking warm chamomile tea or warm milk before bed and putting my phone away really helped me sleep better.

I recently went through a phase of sleeping only 4 hours a day due to project deadlines. My doctor warned me that chronic sleep deprivation ruins your immune system and memory, so I had to strictly fix my sleep routine.

When I was constantly fatigued, I visited the sleep clinic at Apollo Hospital. The doctor told me that sleep deprivation is when your sleep quality or quantity is chronically insufficient. You should talk to a specialist to rule out insomnia.
