What is considered's fever?

My throat is sore and I feel warm, but I'm not sure if it's actually a fever. What is the exact temperature that is officially 'considered a fever'?

Actually yaar, anything below 100.4°F is not even a proper fever. Sometimes your body just gets warm because of the weather or fatigue. Just chill, take rest, and check again after a couple of hours.

I totally get it, checking the thermometer constantly can make you so anxious. Usually, medical professionals consider anything from 100.4°F (38°C) and above to be a real fever. Try not to stress too much, just keep sipping warm water.

Honestly, my body temperature is currently high just from lack of sleep, but officially 100.4°F is where a real fever starts. If you are below that, just go to sleep and stop staring at the thermometer like I do.

A standard fever is 100.4°F and above. Before running to get expensive blood tests or doctor visits which can cost 1000-2000 rupees easily, just monitor it for 2 days. If it's a normal viral thing, it usually goes down with basic rest.

In my sixty years, I have seen many flu seasons. A real fever is only when the scale crosses 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't worry, drink plenty of warm liquids and give your body some time to heal itself.

My family physician clearly explained that a true fever starts at 100.4°F (38°C) when measured orally. Anything between 99°F and 100.3°F is just a low-grade temperature fluctuation, which is normal and doesn't require immediate medication.

It can be really scary when you feel burning hot and don't know what's happening. Just to reassure you, a fever is officially 100.4°F or higher. Your body is just fighting off something, so try to rest and don't be too hard on yourself.
