What is considered a fever for covid?

Someone in my family tested positive for COVID recently, and now I'm feeling a bit feverish. What temperature is generally considered a fever specifically for COVID-19? I want to know if I should get tested.

When I had Covid, any temperature above 100.4 F (38 C) was treated as a proper fever. My tip is to monitor your oxygen levels alongside your temperature using a pulse oximeter. Keep taking paracetamol as prescribed, drink plenty of warm water, and isolate immediately.

Normally, 100.4 F is considered a fever, but even a lower temperature with body ache can be a sign of Covid. It is always safest to get a proper RTPCR test done and talk to a doctor. Please don't self-medicate beyond basic paracetamol without a doctor's advice.

For Covid, a fever is typically 100.4 F or higher. I had severe breathing complications after my fever spiked, so I highly recommend not treating this lightly. Please consult a doctor immediately and keep checking your oxygen levels regularly.

A temperature of 100.4 F (38 C) or above is medically considered a fever in the context of Covid-19. Since symptoms can vary wildly from person to person, a teleconsultation with a doctor is the best first step. They will advise you on testing and the exact medication protocol.

Generally, 100.4 F is the fever mark. You don't need to run to the hospital immediately for a mild fever. Just isolate in one room, take steam, drink warm kadha, and monitor your temperature every few hours. Keep in touch with a local general physician online.

When my fever hit 100.4 F and I tested positive, the anxiety was honestly worse than the physical fever. It is totally okay to feel scared and overwhelmed during this time. Just take it one day at a time, stay connected with loved ones over video calls, and follow your doctor's advice.

Well, 100.4 F is the magic Covid fever number, but my joints start complaining at 99.1 F itself. If you feel like you've been run over by a truck, just isolate and rest. Don't try to be a hero; take your medicines and watch some mindless TV.

When I had Covid, my temperature stayed around 101 F for three days. I am not a doctor, so I can't say what is standard, but I just followed the prescription given by my family physician and drank lots of warm fluids. It is always best to let a professional handle the treatment.

In my long life, I've seen many flus, and Covid fever of 100.4 F or more is indeed tough, but most people recover fully with rest. Don't let fear consume you; it only weakens your resolve. Eat simple warm khichdi, rest, and let the doctors guide your treatment.

I ignored a 100 F temperature during the wave thinking it was just fatigue, and it turned into severe Covid later. Anything above 100 F should be taken seriously now. Please get tested and consult a doctor immediately instead of waiting like I did.
