What is considered a fever for a 10 month old?

My 10-month-old baby is running a bit warm, and I'm not sure if it's an actual fever yet. Can someone tell me what temperature is considered a fever for a 10-month-old baby? Trying to decide if I need to call the pediatrician.

A temperature of 100.4 F and above is a fever. If your baby is just acting like a tiny heater but the reading is 99 F, relax, they are probably just energetic. Keep the thermometer close, and maybe some coffee for yourself!

For a 10-month-old, anything 100.4 F or more is a fever. Use a reliable digital thermometer under the armpit. Keep the baby hydrated with breastmilk or formula, and don't hesitate to visit the doctor if the temperature doesn't go down.

A fever is 100.4 F or higher. Please don't ignore it or assume it's just teething like I once did with my baby, which turned out to be a severe infection. Take your baby to the paediatrician immediately for a proper checkup.

Medically, 100.4 F is the fever threshold for a 10-month-old. Keep their nutrition on point, continue feeding them normally, and avoid letting them get overheated in heavy blankets. Definitely check in with your doctor.

For a 10-month-old, 100.4 F is considered a fever. I have thyroid issues and know how easily infections can affect thyroid levels, so I always take my baby's fever seriously. Always consult your doctor and get regular checkups.

A fever is 100.4 F or above. Make sure you don't feed them heavy solid food if they have a fever; stick to breastmilk, formula, or light rice water. Always speak to your doctor for guidance.

100.4 F is the magic number for a fever at 10 months. When my baby is warm, she refuses her favourite apple puree completely. Keep them hydrated with milk and check with your doc if the temp stays high.

My 10-month-old recently had a fever, and our doctor confirmed that 100.4 F is the starting point. Make sure you keep the baby in light cotton clothes and offer fluids frequently. Please consult your paediatrician for the correct medication.

The hospital we visit defines a baby's fever as 100.4 F and above. It's best to call your paediatrician's clinic directly and ask them clearly what medication to give instead of taking online advice.

For a 10-month-old, anything 100.4 F or more is a fever. Don't waste time trying to guess with your hand on their forehead; use a digital thermometer. If it's high, call your paediatrician immediately to schedule a quick visit.

I read that 100.4 F is a fever for a 10-month-old baby. My baby's temperature is 99.9 F and she is crying a lot. Is it still considered normal, or should I take her to the clinic?

A body temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) or above is considered a fever in a 10-month-old infant. For peace of mind and accurate diagnosis, consulting your paediatrician is always the best path forward.
