What is considered a fever for a 1 year old?

My 1-year-old child felt a little warm to touch today. What temperature range is considered a fever for a 1-year-old? I need to know the proper benchmark before panicking.

When my son turned one, his doctor told me that 100.4 F or higher is considered a fever. Whenever his temperature reached that point, I just kept him hydrated and called our paediatrician for the next steps.

A fever is 100.4 F or above. Please be very careful because high fevers in one-year-olds can sometimes lead to febrile seizures if left unchecked. I highly recommend taking your child to the doctor to find the underlying cause.

For a 1-year-old, 100.4 F (38 C) is the standard fever mark. I usually keep a digital thermometer handy to check under the arm. If it's a fever, we give paracetamol drops only as prescribed by our doctor and monitor them closely.

Haan, 100.4 F se upar hi fever mana jata hai 1 saal ke bache ke liye. Thoda garm lage toh pehle thermometer se check kar lo na, aise hi tension mat lena. Aur turant doctor se consult karna sabse badhiya hai.

According to the pediatric guidelines at the hospital we go to, a temperature of 100.4 F or above is a fever. Don't guess the dosage or try random suggestions. Just call your paediatrician and ask them clearly what to do.
