What is chronic pain?

My knee pain has been constant for years now, and the doctor called it 'chronic pain'. I'm not sure what defines pain as 'chronic' and if it's different from regular pain.

Hey, don't worry too much. Chronic pain is just pain that sticks around for more than three months, long after the original injury or illness has healed. It's real, it's exhausting, but you don't have to suffer through it alone—please make sure you consult a specialist to find a way to manage it safely.

Beta, chronic pain is just the body telling us that some old weakness has not healed properly. Drinking warm turmeric milk at night and doing very light stretching can help soothe the muscles. But you must let a doctor check it to find the real root cause.

For ongoing mild aches, warm water fermentation or applying mustard oil with garlic works quite well. However, if the pain is sudden, extremely severe, or accompanied by numbness, please skip the home remedies and visit a doctor immediately.

I have been dealing with chronic lower back pain for the last four years after a sports injury. I've realized that sitting for too long makes it worse, so I try to stretch every hour. I won't give medical tips, but finding my physical limits really helped me cope better.

Welcome to the club where waking up with a different joint aching every morning is the new normal! Chronic pain is basically that uninvited guest in your body that refuse to leave even after months. I just laugh it off sometimes, take my prescribed meds, and keep going.

Please don't fall for online advertisements selling 'miracle oils' or magnets to cure your chronic pain. Chronic pain is complex and often involves the nervous system, so it's best to verify your condition with an orthopedic doctor or a pain specialist.
