What is chronic kidney disease stage 1?

A friend's mother was told she has chronic kidney disease stage 1. I'm trying to figure out what that stage means and if it's serious or not.

Stage 1 is the absolute earliest stage where kidney damage is very mild, and the eGFR rate is actually normal (above 90). Usually, people don't even have symptoms here. Just get your BP and diabetes checked, because managing those is how you stop it from progressing.

Stage 1 basically means your kidneys are working perfectly fine but they just had a tiny warning talk with the doctor. Think of it like your phone battery at 98%—it's still great, you just need to stop playing heavy games. No need to panic, just drink water and chill!

Beta, stage 1 is just a signal from the body to take care of your health. Eat fresh gourd (lauki) juice if your doctor allows, but don't do anything excessive. Focus on sleeping on time, reducing salty pickles from your meals, and doing simple prayers to keep your mind calm.

Stage 1 means it's time to say a little goodbye to those extra salty french fries and extra soy sauce in your Chinese food! You can still enjoy great home-cooked meals, just with a little less sodium. Think of it as a healthy food adventure rather than a strict diet restriction.

As someone managing diabetes for 15 years, I know how high sugar can put pressure on the kidneys. Stage 1 is a reminder that you need to be very strict with your HbA1c levels. Keep your sugar in control, avoid sugary sweets, and your kidneys will remain safe for a long time.

I was researching this for a project and found out that in Stage 1, kidneys are working at 90% or more capacity. The damage is so minor that it's usually caught only during routine urine or blood tests for other issues. It's basically a wake-up call to correct your daily habits.

In stage 1, many people run behind random herbal juices and heavy home remedies thinking they will cure it overnight. From my experience, please don't load your kidneys with unnecessary powders. Just drink clean water, eat freshly cooked home meals with less oil-masala, and keep your body active.

Dekho bhai, stage 1 ka matlab hai kidneys par thoda stress hai par kaam poora chal raha hai. Isko ignore mat karo par panic bhi mat karo. Apne man se painkillers khana band karo, salt intake thoda control karo, aur doctor ne jo bola hai wahi follow karo.

Mere padosi ko bhi stage 1 bataya tha doctor ne. Wo bechare bahut dar gaye the, par ab wo bilkul theek hain. Doctor sahab ne unhe thoda namak kam khane ko bola tha aur thoda tahlne ko kaha tha. Aap bilkul chinta mat karo, bhagwan sab theek karenge.

Stage 1 sunke darna mat, haan! This is actually the best time to take action because kidney function is still very good. Actually, doctor normal lifestyle changes aur diet check karne ko bolte hain bas. Apne schedule me thoda regular walks add karo aur stress free raho, sab theek hoga.
