Cervical pain usually refers to pain in the neck region, often caused by bad posture, muscle strain, or disc issues in the cervical spine. While ergonomics help, getting an accurate diagnosis from an orthopedist or physiotherapist is always the best way to deal with it.
I also suffer from neck and shoulder stiffness because of my long laptop hours. Personally, using an orthopedic pillow and doing light neck stretches every two hours helps me manage the discomfort, but I don't take any medicines without consulting.
It is basically neck strain from looking down at your phone or screen all day. Fix your screen height, take short breaks every 45 minutes, and do basic neck rotations. Don't let it worsen, otherwise you will end up spending weeks in physiotherapy sessions.
I completely understand how scary it feels when neck pain radiates down your arm and you start thinking the worst. Honestly, most of the time it is just muscle tension or bad posture aggravated by stress. Try to relax and consult a doctor to ease your mind.
Cervical pain can be very painful and makes even sitting or sleeping difficult. Please take some rest, apply a hot water bag to your neck, and don't exert yourself too much today. Hope you feel better soon.

It's that nagging ache in your neck and upper back. Just like how I track my thyroid levels regularly to manage my body aches, I highly recommend getting an X-ray or doctor checkup done for neck pain instead of ignoring it for months.
