I totally get it, getting scratched by a pet can make you super worried. It's actually called cat scratch fever, caused by a bacteria from cat saliva, and it can cause fever and swollen glands.

My sister's kitten scratched her last year and she got swollen lymph nodes. It's easily treated with simple antibiotics, so just visit a clinic and get it checked.

It's a bacterial infection you can get from a cat scratch or bite. First, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water, and see a doctor for antibiotics if you get a fever.

At our family clinic, they advised us that any cat scratch with redness and fever needs proper evaluation. Ask your doctor clearly for the right antibiotic course.

I was so terrified when my lymph nodes swelled up after a minor scratch from my kitten. It is a very scary feeling, but a simple visit to the doctor will put your mind at ease.

If a stray cat scratched you and you have a fever now, don't wait around. Go to a nearby clinic, get a tetanus shot if needed, and let them examine it.

Don't stress too much, it's just a mild bacterial thing from cat scratches that goes away easily with basic meds. Just get a quick checkup done to be sure!
