What is bilious vomiting?

My friend was sick last week and he kept mentioning 'bilious vomiting'. I'm not sure what that means. What is bilious vomiting and why does it happen?

For normal nausea, sipping ginger tea or chewing a small piece of amla helps quiet the stomach. But bilious vomiting means you are throwing up bile, which points to a deeper issue like a blockage. Don't rely on home remedies for this one, go see a doctor soon.

It means vomiting up green or bright yellow fluid, which is actually bile from the liver. As someone who manages diabetes, I always keep an eye on vomiting because it can mess up your blood sugar levels very fast. Please don't ignore it or try to eat sweet things to cover the taste, consult your doctor immediately.

I totally understand how terrifying it is when you throw up something bright green or yellow and wonder what's wrong. Try to take a deep breath, it usually just means bile is coming up because your stomach is totally empty. It's best to call your clinic so they can reassure you and check the cause.

Hey, don't stress too much right now, but definitely take this seriously. Throwing up green-yellow fluid just means bile is coming out. Just call your doctor and let them handle it, don't keep Google searching things online tonight!

When my son had this issue, we rushed him to the local hospital immediately. The emergency room doctor explained it was bile. I highly recommend visiting a proper clinic and asking the doctor clearly about what is causing the reflux or blockage.

I see this question often on the forum. Bilious vomiting is essentially throwing up bile, which is greenish-yellow and tastes very bitter. Since it can quickly lead to severe dehydration, please get a checkup done to find the root cause.

Haan, if the vomit is bright yellow or green, that is bilious vomiting. It means your stomach is empty and bile from the intestines is coming up instead. Thoda serious ho sakta hai na, so better to consult a doctor than trying to handle it at home.

Bilious vomiting occurs when you expel bile, which is a fluid produced by the liver. It's often a sign of gastrointestinal obstruction or severe reflux. A proper medical evaluation is definitely required here, so please book a doctor's appointment instead of self-diagnosing.
