While you are waiting for your dentist appointment, holding a warm salt water rinse in your mouth for 30 seconds really helps reduce the throbbing. Putting a tiny dab of clove oil on a cotton swab also numbs the area nicely. But don't delay the actual checkup, as home remedies only buy you some time.

Tooth pain is absolutely unbearable. Please do warm salt water gargles right now, it will give you some temporary relief.

Toothache can make a grown adult cry like a baby, honestly! For now, just hold an ice pack on your cheek and avoid chewing anything harder than khichdi. And please call your dentist before you end up starving yourself!

Beta, thoda sa namak aur garm pani ka kulla karo, usse daant ke dard mein bahut aaram milta hai. Aur agar paas mein koi achha daktar hai toh unhe dikha lo, daant ke dard ko daba ke nahi rakhna chahiye.

I tried clove, garlic paste, and even ginger when my wisdom tooth flared up, but the relief was very short-lived. Warm saline rinses are the most soothing and hygienic option. Ultimately, I had to get a filling done, so definitely schedule a dentist visit soon.

Please do not ignore tooth pain or keep taking painkiller pills. I neglected a mild ache which turned into a severe deep root infection and required a painful surgery later. Go to a dentist immediately to get an X-ray done.
