I totally get it, dealing with a high fever and chills makes you feel completely drained and helpless. Standard paracetamol is usually the best and safest option to bring the temperature down. Please lie down, keep a damp cloth on your forehead, and let your family take care of you today.

Don't overcomplicate things with multiple medicines. Just take a standard paracetamol, drink plenty of water or coconut water, and get under the sheets to rest. If your fever stays high for more than 48 hours, stop waiting at home and go see a doctor.

The best fever reduction therapy is actually called 'cancel all your meetings and sleep like a log.' Pair that with a paracetamol and a giant bottle of water next to your bed. Seriously, don't try to be a hero; rest is the real cure here!

Paracetamol is the best and safest way to reduce fever, along with regular tap water sponging.

For quick fever reduction, taking a paracetamol tablet is the most reliable method. Along with that, simple cold-water sponging on the forehead and neck helps bring the temperature down quickly. Keep the room well-ventilated and avoid wrapping yourself in heavy, thick blankets.

While paracetamol helps lower the fever, I always look forward to hot tomato soup or light, watery moong dal khichdi. It keeps you hydrated, is super easy to digest, and actually tastes good when your mouth feels totally bitter from the fever. Avoid any oily comfort foods for a few days!
