What is avh in mental health?

I was reading an article about mental health and saw the term 'AVH'. I'm not familiar with it at all. Can anyone explain what 'AVH' means in the context of mental health?

AVH stands for Auditory Verbal Hallucinations, which is basically hearing voices when no one is talking. Honestly, with only 3 hours of sleep daily, I sometimes feel like my alarm clock is ringing in my head even when it's off. But jokes apart, if someone is actually experiencing this, they need a proper doctor, not just a nap.

It means Auditory Verbal Hallucinations, a medical term for hearing voices. Instead of searching online and getting more worried, the most practical solution is to take the person to a qualified psychiatrist at a good govt or private hospital. Early treatment always makes management much easier and cheaper.

Look, AVH is Auditory Verbal Hallucinations, meaning hearing voices. This is a proper clinical issue and not some ghost or black magic stuff, so please don't waste time on babas. Take the patient to a good doctor immediately and start proper therapy.

In my family, a close relative had this issue where they heard voices. We didn't know what it was initially, but visiting a professional helped us understand it clinically as AVH. I can't give medical advice, but seeking professional psychiatric help was the only thing that worked for us.

Haan, iska matlab Auditory Verbal Hallucinations hota hai, matlab aawazein sunayi dena jo actual me nahi hain. Yeh koi hansi-mazak ya choti cheez nahi hai na, toh self-diagnose mat karo. Kisi acche specialist doctor se consult karna hi best rahega.

Haan na, clinical terms padh ke hum bohot darr jaate hain, but AVH is just hearing voices. It is quite common in some psychiatric conditions. Please doctor ke paas jaakar discuss kijiye, therapy se kaafi help milti hai isme.

It stands for Auditory Verbal Hallucinations, basically hearing voices. I studied this in my psychology elective last semester. It is a serious symptom, so don't ignore it or try to ignore it, directly book an appointment with a psychiatrist.

Don't stress too much seeing heavy medical terms on Google! AVH just means hearing voices, and it is a treatable symptom with proper therapy and medicine. Just support whoever is going through this and help them connect with a sweet, understanding doctor.
