What is an eye stroke?

My mother recently had some issues with her eyesight and the doctor mentioned something like an 'eye stroke'. I've never heard of it before, and I'm a bit worried. Could someone explain what exactly an eye stroke is?

Oh my god, an eye stroke? That sounds terrifying! Is it like, your eye just stops working suddenly? I get so anxious about anything related to my vision. I hope it's not too common. It's always best to see an eye doctor immediately if anything feels off with your eyes, don't wait.

An eye stroke, huh? Sounds like your eyes decided to take an unplanned vacation and forgot to tell your brain. Jokes aside, it's pretty serious, like a stroke but for your eye. Definitely not something to 'blink' at, get it checked by a doc ASAP if you have sudden vision changes!

Look, an eye stroke, also known as retinal artery occlusion or retinal vein occlusion, means blood flow to your eye's retina gets blocked. This can cause sudden vision loss. It's serious, like any stroke. Don't ignore sudden changes in vision. Go to a good eye specialist immediately.

Haan na, an eye stroke matlab, blood supply to your eye's retina gets blocked. It's like a mini stroke for your vision. So, if you suddenly can't see properly, or vision gets blurry, you need to see a doctor immediately, ho na? Don't delay it.

My neighbour's uncle had something like this, a blockage in his eye's blood vessels, that affected his vision. For kids, it's rare, but adults, especially older ones, need to be careful. If you or any elder person in your family suddenly complains about not being able to see clearly, take them to an eye doctor immediately. It's very important.

An eye stroke can happen if the blood vessels in your eye get blocked, often due to underlying issues like high blood pressure or diabetes. That's why managing BP and getting regular checkups is crucial. If you ever experience sudden changes in your vision, don't wait, get it examined by an eye specialist without delay.
