Yaar, normal range can vary a bit from person to person, na? Actually, my uncle, who has Type 2, tries to keep his fasting around 100-120 and post-meal around 140-160. But this is just what his doc advised him. Best to ask your own doc, seriously.

Managing diabetes means constantly monitoring these levels. My endocrinologist set a target of 80-130 mg/dL before meals and less than 180 mg/dL two hours after. It's a continuous effort with diet and exercise to keep it there, really.

For Type 2 diabetes, my doctor always stressed that fasting should ideally be below 130 mg/dL and post-meal (2 hours after) below 180 mg/dL. But everyone is different, so it's super important to discuss this with your own doctor. They tailor it to your health and other conditions.

I was just researching this for a friend. From what I understand, generally, a fasting level under 130 mg/dL and a post-meal (2 hours after eating) level under 180 mg/dL are considered good targets for Type 2. But this info is from general health sites, not medical advice, so consult a doctor.

While diet and light exercise like walking help a lot to keep sugar in check, it's very important to know your personal targets from a doctor. Don't rely on just one number you hear. My neighbour uses methi dana water, but also follows her doctor's advice carefully.

Hey! 😊 It's tricky to say one 'normal' number because it depends on your specific health. My doctor said for most people with Type 2, fasting should be under 130 and after food under 180. Always good to discuss with your doc and make a plan! 💪
