What is a high ldh level for cancer?

My father recently had some blood tests, and the doctor mentioned his LDH levels were high. He's worried about cancer; what would be considered a 'high' LDH level in relation to cancer?

LDH levels vary across labs, but anything significantly above the normal range (usually 140-280 U/L) can be considered high. Please practice gentle breathing exercises to keep your mind calm, but do discuss these reports with an oncologist for proper clarity.

I got my reports and my LDH was around 450. I am so worried right now because the internet says scary things about cancer. Has anyone else had high LDH levels that turned out to be completely harmless?

LDH levels above 280 U/L are generally high, but it can rise due to tissue damage or simple infections too. While a clean vegetarian diet supports overall healing, you must consult your oncologist to understand what this means for cancer.

Bro, LDH levels above 250 U/L are considered high. But don't panic reading stuff online, because LDH can shoot up even from a hard gym workout or muscle injury. Just show it to a proper doctor.

I totally get it, seeing abnormal numbers on a lab report can be absolutely terrifying. High LDH is usually anything above 250-280 U/L, but it's not a definitive cancer test on its own. Please talk to your doctor to get the right perspective.

A high LDH level, generally above 280 U/L, can happen due to many reasons, including non-cancerous conditions. However, for your safety, please get the reports evaluated by a specialist immediately to avoid any delay.
