What is a good sleep posture?

My back has been bothering me a lot lately, and a physiotherapist suggested it might be how I sleep. I usually sleep on my stomach, but he said that's bad. What is actually considered a good sleep posture to avoid back pain?

In all my years, I have found that sleeping on your side, especially the left side, is best for digestion and comfort. Don't sleep on your stomach as it strains your neck and back heavily. Just keep a small pillow between your knees for extra comfort.

A calm mind before sleeping naturally leads to a relaxed body posture. Sleeping on your back with a thin pillow helps keep the spine aligned and peaceful. Take deep, gentle breaths and let go of all worries before you sleep. Take care.

I used to panic thinking my bad sleeping posture was causing all my neck aches. But my physiotherapist reassured me that simply changing positions during the night is normal. Just use a pillow that supports your neck properly and don't overthink it.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding the perfect sleeping posture! Just sleep however you feel most comfortable, whether on your side or back. If you wake up with a stiff neck, maybe just check if your pillow needs to be changed.

Honestly, I sleep in the weirdest positions after late-night study sessions and wake up with a sore back. Side sleeping with a pillow hugged close is super cozy and seems to keep my neck from hurting. Definitely avoid sleeping on your stomach, it's terrible.
